TODAY! CONFERENCE WELCOME AND VIDEO RELEASE OF ‘EXCLUDED’

1/29/2021

Today we are thrilled to launch the first event of our conference, a pre-recorded welcome from the organizers and video release of the opening panel discussion ‘Excluded: The Consequences of Psychedelic Exclusion Criteria and First Hand Experiences of People Who Meet Such Criteria.” The discussion features Postmod Anna, Geoff Bathje, Valery Shuman, and Brenda Steele, with intellectual contributions from Vilmarie Fraguada Narloch.

After watching the video, if you have questions or comments for the panelists, we invite you to share them via this form, which will remain open from Saturday January 30 - Friday February 5. The panelists will meet to discuss your questions in early February, and a recording of that conversation will be captioned and posted on the website later in February.

Looking forward to next week, on Saturday February 6th, we will release the videos for presentation panel 1, entitled “Re-Thinking Psychedelics, Madness & Awakening.” This panel features Nadia Book, Chasse Gibeault, Paul Levy, Skylar Louttit, and David Nickles.

Please also note that forms are open to collect audience questions and comments for the speakers on the following Discussion Panels. We encourage you to submit your questions and themes for the panelists to discuss:

  • Psychedelic Guide and Therapeutic Abuse
  • The Madness of the Gender Binary
  • New Forms of Care for BIPOC Communities

We hope you will join us over the next few months as we begin these timely conversations about the intersection of psychedelics, madness, and awakening!
