To cap off the PMA conference, we are excited and honored to share our final videos:

-Our fourth Discussion Panel, ‘Psychiatric Abolition: Envisioning New Structures For Responding to Crisis Situations,’ a conversation between Jess Stohlmann-Rainey, Imani Robinson, niki jones, and Sean Donovan, moderated by Derek Pyle.

-The Q&A discussion for Presentation Panel 9, ‘Translations and Transformations’, with Rachel Flanigan and Benjamin Mudge, moderated by Helen Spandler.

Many thanks to the panelists for their contributions to the conference!

-Lastly, we have recorded brief final thoughts and reflections from Erica, Patricia and Tehseen on the conference and the conference organizing process.

We are deeply grateful for the many kind messages of support and encouragement that we’ve received over the past three months, as well as your generous financial donations. Also we want to give a shout-out to all the speakers, moderators, and members of the captioning team and conference working group for all of their contributions to making the conference happen. All the videos and their transcripts will remain accessible on our website, for as many years as we are able to maintain the website without it becoming obsolete.

Although the conference has ended, we are keen to keep publishing blog posts related to the PMA themes, so if you are interested please email us at [email protected] with your suggested topic.

Speaking of which, check out two recent posts on our blog by conference participants Xanthe Horner, who reflects on a 7-day microdosing and art therapy journey, and David Lukoff, who offers a reflection on resources generated by this conference as well information about an upcoming workshop on medicinal and spiritual perspectives on psychedelics. Thanks so much Xanthe and David for contributing these posts!

After May 18th, Patricia will be stepping back from the core organizing team to focus on writing her dissertation. Tehseen and Erica will continue website maintenance and email correspondence.

With much gratitude, and in mad/psychedelic solidarity,

Erica, Patricia, Tehseen
